We've all encountered Void, and if you haven't, well, it's quite a humbling experience.
You see, when Void attacks, it's without warning. Boom! A sniper shot from several hundred metres away, and you're clutching your side in pain, gasping for breath, and trying to figure out what the heck just happened. Once you finally get your bearings, boom! A second shot, and you're pretty sure it hit something important. Obviously, your CORETECHS have automatically called for help through the station's mesh, but you're not sure you'll survive until backup (or rather, security in your case) would arrive.
You could try fleeing of course, but the darkness that is Void flows effortlessly across the alleys and crannies of buildings. It's very rare to be able to escape, and even rarer to have Void arrested. I've tried all sorts of weapons, but even the beautiful flames from my Goram are simply absorbed by the blackness.
Luckily for me, the TAU and DEV syndicates have agreed upon a cease-fire, and I haven't been bothered from Void since then. I find that not being utterly destroyed is quite refreshing, but I would like to spar now and then. As a reminder to myself that out there, there's always something stronger.
