FANTASY MISSION (TEST NAVIGATION PILOT) PAGE 007

Arriving in the docks, you immediately tried to contact Fe.

“Light flickers in your eyes while skimming through your CORETECHS.”

Bzzzt. Bzzt. Bzzt.

“Surprised… You immediately allowed the unknown transmission unto your network.”

Fe: Hello Ploximity. Please proceed to Shuttle J91 as we secure the area for take-off.

Entering the docks you find yourself in front of a medium size shuttle which looked like something you have never seen before. A propulsion system which had no exhaust, a communication device which had no transmission beacon and most of all there is no sign or hint of any form of shield generator. The only thing you notice is that this shuttle is carrying a ring structure which had protruding particle cannons and Tesla coils.

Furrowing your brows, you try to make sense of the situation and asses the dilemma that you’re in.

Me: THERE IS NO DAMN WAY THAT THIS THING CAN GO TO ORBIT!!!

Me: The shuttle is like a damn pipe with rings attached to it. Is it even space worthy?

Fe: Ploximity… Calm yourself, the shuttle design was an unorthodox approach to get rid of the conventional limitation of space travel. Using conservative wisdom would only constrain us in achieving our goals.

Me: But the damn thing is just like a chunk of metal with a halo attached unto it. How the hell will it go into orbit!?

Fe: Relax… I’m sending you the full detail on the propulsion system and navigation manuals directly to your neural network. Due to the confidentiality of this information, it has never been uploaded during your systems upgrade.

“A couple of segments passed and you finally understood the ships propulsion system.”

Me: Okay, I might have overreacted on that situation. But still, this mass can’t be directly transported to orbit. How are you going to launch this?

Fe: It would be launched using a railgun technology. That shuttle is going to be used as a projectile and once in orbit is should automatically go into navigation mode. For now let us begin operation.

“You enter the shuttle and prepare for take-off.”

Bzzz…

“Somehow, the holograph watch on your wrist emits a series of light sequence. It scanned the surrounding cockpit and concentrated its light emission on the shuttles control panel.”

HuG: SECURITY SEQUENCE TRANSMITTED!

J91 Shuttle Security System: ACCESS GRANTED!

System Message: Charging acceleration particles.

System Message: Initializing Orbit Navigation Sequence.

System Message: Shuttle will launch in 5

System Message: Shuttle will launch in 4

System Message: Shuttle will launch in 3

System Message: Shuttle will launch in 2

System Message: Shuttle will launch in 1

“Your shuttle accelerated into orbit.”

Fe: Congratulations Ploximity! You’re now officially out of Wakizashi Station. Please proceed with the operations.
