The second quarter of 2019 has seen a host of enhancements for our game features. Feedback and messaging have been optimized with the new pop-up feature. We continued to bring more elements into full-screen mode, and introduced the Archive 2.0. Side Jobs, Career Tasks, and Discreet work have been polished, adding new UI, branching choices, and NPC pictures. There are also new university courses, 2 new missions, vendor logos, new item artwork, technical improvements and the new “/me” command for chat, as well as a number of important changes for Syndicates. Status Report Q1/2019 (Jan-Mar)
Welcome to our first quarterly status report. It’s time to review changes in Tau Station from January, February and March 2019!
5 new missions and the YZ Ceti system, with 4 stations was added. Bodyguards are now at your service; the game’s beginning has been improved for new citizens; and there are 89 new item images, plus 40 brand new epic items for Syndicate Campaigns. Lots of new University courses, the bond log, and various other improvements were also added. Last, but not least, there’s a new dedicated section in your CORETECHS for the Citizen Council.
Status Report: December 2018
In December 2018 several major changes and additions were rolled out for you. A new system ‘L 276-8’ was added, syndicates can now do challenging co-op campaigns, stims come with new names to better reflect their benefits, the first part of combat refining is done and there’s a new cinema feature. Status Report: November 2018
November consisted of 4 weekly game updates. 7 new missions are extending the story, avatars made it to game, coming with a lot of UI changes and improvements such as seeing your opponent in combat now and new public profile pages. The Ruins got extended by 3 sub-areas, new credit logs help you to check recent balance changes and the CORETECHS sections got cleaned up. Status Report: October 2018
October 2018 was one of the most prolific months for our young game. A total of 8 new missions were added, we released our first trailer, cycle 200 was celebrated with gifts and a new mysterious mission. Following a Community suggestion, the Station News feature enriches game play, reporting to everyone what’s going on in our growing universe. The new consumable item ‘Termination Pellet’ allows new strategical re-spawns; your wish is our command. Military Stim packs have been updated with a batch of new 3D artwork, now indicating which stats get boosted. Many improvements have been added to the combat system. Status Report: September 2018
In September 2018, the completion of many tasks came to fruition with the release of our third system Barnard’s Star. Barnard’s Star brings 5 new stations, with new jobs, missions and even new local authorities to the game. A help icon now gives quick access to basic tips and several fan sites that share their knowledge with the Community. Furthermore, nearly 50 new 3D pictures add variety to the growing item pool. Aside from many detail changes like adding several confirmations and improved NPC vendor offers, all citizens who unite in a Syndicate have new features like a private forum, a new role for better management, a public profile page and more. It’s Friday, 31st August – and that means it’s time to review how Tau Station has been improved this month! Among other things, many new courses are available for private ship Captains, Syndicates are improved, a new mission can be played, Discreet Work has received various updates, and more. Status Report: July 2018
A new month has arrived, and it’s time to review what went down in July 2018! The biggest addition to the game is the (first part of) the new syndicates feature. Now you can unite with other citizens in an alliance! Each membership gets expressed by a unique tag shown with your name, e.g. in chat. Speaking of chat, chat’s been updated and extended too. The combat system and private ships received various upgrades, and new 3D artwork, weapons, armor and consumable items have been added. Status Report: June 2018
In June, several new features have been rolled out. New PvE campaigns are available in some station’s Ruins, new multi-stims boost more than one stat, you can re-explore missions and in case of death, your gear is now saved and can be picked up at the Gov’t Center of the station you died on. Eight new University courses for combat have been unlocked, credits from career tasks go to straight your bank account now, ship captain’s have reduced maintenance times and you can trade or gift VIP packs again!
