As we highlight the many important aspects that make Tau Station the innovative game it is, our Community comes to the forefront of our minds. You, our Tau Station Community, have made the team smile from the beginning, with your support, patience, and little acts of kindness towards new players! Your welcoming culture means newcomers not only get helpful advice from veterans in the in-game chat, but it’s also become a tradition to send “welcome gifts” when we moved from Closed to Open Alpha status!
We’ve had another great Citizen Council meeting.
For those not familiar with the Citizen Council, Tau Station collaborates directly with our citizens (players). The citizens elect council members to represent them and they have regular video meetings with us to share citizen feedback. The council members also have access to a test server to help preview upcoming features. This has been invaluable in terms of building great communication between the development team and the players.
Just 200 segments ago, the Citizen Council met with the Tau Station team. Today, we would love to share what has been discussed in our first video meeting with your newly elected representatives.
A big thank you to all Citizens who voted in our second Citizen Council election which ended a few days ago at 203.91 GCT. Much gratitude also goes to all applicants and the nine candidates of the Community election! Here are the basic results and a short preview about what happens next.
As of today, our Community deliberates on the next Citizen Council. Vote for the candidate you want to support during the next 7 days. Good luck to all the candidates and thanks again for your willingness to invest your time for the good of our Community.
We’re about to enter the last preparation phase before the new Citizen Council (CC) election starts in November! In a few days, we will reveal all the candidates who are asking our Community for their votes.
