Impressions of The Perl Conference in Glasgow

This week, The Perl Conference – Glasgow took place with several of our team members attending. Today, we want to share some impressions with you, including videos of our team’s presentations as well as some photos.

In our previous blog post, Curtis “Ovid” Poe, gave an overview of the trip and also introduced some of our team members in person. If you are interested in the presentations about Perl, all sessions have been broadcast and can be watched via (live) stream. Below, we list the YouTube video recordings of our team members with the exact time stamps, so you do not have to search for the start.

Pictures: Right from the conference

Right from the conference, simbaque tweeted: “The @taustation game written in #Perl is very popular this year at #TPCiG.”. Seems like we need to extend our slogan “The game you can play at work” with “…and during conferences” 🙂

Chris Jack posted really nice impressions on Facebook in a photo album. Here are some photos, also showing some of our team members.

After all work was done, Ilya, Pete and Curtis met at the bar.
Ilya, Pete and Curtis also enjoyed some delicious food on Friday evening.
Later, Emma from the front-end teams also joined for a glass of wine at a pub. On this picture together with Ilya and Pete who is wearing a nice hat 🙂

If you didn’t have the chance this time, our team is looking forward meeting you on one of the next Perl conferences!
